Creating an effective team at work involves setting goals and letting everyone know what you expect out of them. You must have good communication from everyone that works with you. Have an open door policy, where people can state their opinions in a respectful way. Everyone on your team should feel like they are valued. There should also be an understanding that if you work hard to reach the united goal of the whole team, then it can help everyone to advance. If team members do good work, then they should get rewarded and recognized for that.
You should make sure that the team you are creating has competent people on it that can get the job done. You want to be able to trust your team and make sure that your team trusts each other. Teach positive thinking. You want to work towards accomplishing good things instead of worrying about the negative. A good team should be motivated to do the best that they can. They should work together and help each other out. Everyone on the team should know that they are important and that they matter. Follow these steps and you should have a winning work team.
